The KBS-Media Lab (knowledge based systems - media) project has been going on since 1987 with support from among others Apple Computer Inc. Within the KBS-Media Lab new concepts for information handling and communication are formulated, developed and tested. Demonstrations systems are built together with users for different application areas (multimedia user interfaces and special user development tools with underlying facts bases in the form of relational databases and videodisk image banks); Urban information - CITY ADVISOR, Material and vendor information - AMVI, Building maintenance - DELPHI, Knowledge transfer to building site - CUBE, Cooperation and Communication in early design - COOCOM etc.

KBS-CLASS Neural networks for classification support.
COOCOM1 Computer supported cooperative working in early design to support building operation and maintenance. A joint project between building contractor, architect, property owner and the Swedish Telecom. ISDN connections, groupware, local and distributed group meetings and video communication.
PRODFACE Digital product catalogues with focus on graphical tools and presentations.
