The paper discusses design and use of distributed learning systems. Examples and experiences from ongoing courses are presented. Distributed learning is defined and put into the context of tomorrows learning environments and the project and problem based learning methodology used at Aalborg University.
There is a great need to raise the IT competence of the teachers to meet the needs for and carrying through of the changes in education on all levels. We will in the future see a closer natural collaboration between universities in course development and experience exchange.
