Use of Acrobat files and Plug-ins on the Web.

You can easily transfer any file from Postscript format to PDF (Portable Document Format). Postscript and PDF was defined by Adobe Inc. Postscript is used by most printers.

The following programs are available

• Adobe Acrobat Reader (to read a PDF file). Free from http://www.adobe.com
• Adobe Acrobat Plug-in (to read a PDF file from your Web browser
• Adobe Capture http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/capture.html
• Acrobat Distiller (to convert a file from Postscript to PDF)
• Acrobat Exchange (to add links and edit your PDF document)

The easiest way to convert a document to postscript format is to print to a file and not to a printer.
